The casket opens...

It turns out, I'm still alive. But yeah... I guess it's been a little while, eh? I've simply been caught up in life's other stuff and things. Thought I'd pop in for a brief visit on the b-day of one of screen's old school boogie-men.

"The spider spinning his web for the unwary fly."

Happy Birthday to Bela Lugosi. Not the best actor, by any stretch of the imagination (nowhere near the chops of horror greats Cushing, Lee, Price, Rains, etc), but his portrayal of the Count in 1931's Dracula still creeps me out to this day. And I'm a grown man. Well, sorta.

So there it is, I guess kinda "back in '31." See ya soon.

"*Charmed*, I'm sure."

Some days, I want someone to design a special Class of '81 t-shirt or something. Yay, us!

Hi,

Apologies for the off-topic comment, but I couldn't find a contact email for you.

I've recently put out an ebook of my writing, called 'The New Death and others'. It's mostly short stories, with some obvious gamer-interest material. For example I have a story inspired by OD&D elves, as well as poems which retell Robert E Howard's King Kull story 'The Mirrors of Tuzun Thune' and HP Lovecraft's 'Under the Pyramids'.

I was wondering if you'd be interested in doing a review on your blog.

If so, please let me know your email, and what file format is easiest for you, and I'll send you a free copy. You can email me (news@apolitical.info) or reply to this thread.

You can download a sample from Smashwords:

I'll also link to your review from my blog.

Yours,
James.
