"The Whisperer in Darkness": another upcoming Lovecraft flick by the HPLHS

Whoooahhh! Now this looks sa-wwweeeeeet!

Not much time to babble on about it here, but just a couple links to get you checking it out, if you haven't already:
If this is all old news to ya'll then, I guess I suck. However, if it's new to anyone, then I suck a little bit less, right?

I only saw it as I hit up the HPLHS site after chatting it up with some of you folks (including: Atom Kid, Christopher B, ATOM and rainswept) in the comments section of my last post.

I hope I'm not totally swiping this from one of your blogs (anyone reading this, really), as I have certainly done that before without truly knowing I did (oops!). I can honestly say that this is the first I have seen of this new movie, and I am now severely geeked!

Anyway, check out that trailer. Check out the pics. Check out the whole deal. IMO, from the looks of what they have so far, this thing is gonna be freakin' sa-weet.

Can't wait!

I thought for a moment that they were making another silent film, which seemed like an absurdly bad idea for that story, but it seems it will have sound. Good! I'm looking forward to this one; while it's not the most filmic of HPL's stories, neither is Cthulhu, and they did a great job with that.

Unholy crap!

I've got to see this!

The narration at the beginning reminds me of some Aleister Crowley invocations I've heard. Creepy!

My brother and I are working on a Doctor Who audio drama that involves HPL and an Aleister Crowley look-a-like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhz9pVK5ofY

Yep, it's a talkie. I'm looking forward to this one too. The trailer could be misleading, but only because it looks soooooo good.

Whoah! Coolness. I must say getting some feedback directly from the folks who create or work on some of the things I babble about here really makes my day. I mean, seriously what a cool little network "teh internets" are, right?

Seriously, thanks for the comment and the links. I will be following this new flick too as I can't seem to get enough of this vibe lately.

Awesome work! Please keep it up. I'm a musician (songwriter, producer, performer) in another side of my life, so that adds to my glee hearing from ya here too.
