It certainly makes it all seem more valid.

And yeah, they seem like some good ol' geeks (well most of them)...hehe. They are obvious fans and that counts double.

Floating vampire kid...ha! See? I'm not alone. Some funny insights from some of the crew. Was it the makeup artist who said she hadn't even heard of it before she started working on it? I could have that wrong...either way, funny insights.yoyorobbohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08375340160423546919noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564695407408502795.post-11285505575235816962009-08-21T14:32:10.681-04:002009-08-21T14:32:10.681-04:00I've always been a bit of a Lovecraft fan, but...I've always been a bit of a Lovecraft fan, but even so I really liked this film. Not only is it strong in its own right, and a great achievement, it also serves as a good proof-of-concept for a full-length adaptation.thekelvingreenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01928260185408072124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564695407408502795.post-60710942853218623372009-08-21T13:48:54.850-04:002009-08-21T13:48:54.850-04:00@rainswept:

(And to call the HPLHS "indy" filmmakers is overstating their status... IIRC, this was their first - and so far, only - film. They seem like they're really just a bunch of CoC gamers/LARPers who reeeaaalllly love, erm, Lovecraft.)

I agree, though: this movie is a must-see for any Lovecraft fan. (I also agree: that floating vampire kid in the original Salem's Lot is creepy as Hell. That movie rocks on toast, IMHO - especially when viewed late at night, in a darkened house.)

(Word verification: Gembi; she's Gumbi's little sister, dammit!)Christopher Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17368794259249607299noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564695407408502795.post-38991742837104954342009-08-19T19:02:17.468-04:002009-08-19T19:02:17.468-04:00I need to see this movie!
